Ariana is a dancer, singer and actress based in NYC after moving from Orlando, Florida and working at all the major theme parks in Central Florida. Her credits include Festival of the Lion King, The Trolley Show, Festival of Fantasy Parade and many others. She has been a part of several screen productions regionally and internationally.

Sierra Berkeley Fisher, she/they
Adele Toulouse-Lautrec
Sierra is a Brooklyn based singer, dancer, actor, and musician. Born and raised on Long Island, she made the long trek to NYU Tisch where she graduated with her BFA in drama after studying at the New Studio on Broadway, Stonestreet, and the Experimental Theater Wing. Her most recent stage credits include ensemble in Oklahoma! at St. Anns Warehouse, and Lula in Dutchman at the Access Theater.

Opera Singer
Flávia Darcie is a Brazilian Mezzo-Soprano based in NYC. She holds a master’s degree in Vocal Performance from NYU and a bachelor’s degree in Conducting from a university in São Paulo, where she was born and raised. Her credits include recitals with The Opera Collective and with International Brazilian Opera Company (IBOC), and some recent roles are Hildegard in the new opera Waiting for the rain, Poeta in Prima la musica e poi le parole and Chinese tea cup and Dragonfly in L’enfant et les sortilèges.

Thank you for coming to my love poem to New York and New York's resilience in the face of adversity. When the pandemic started we were performing our site-specific show UnmakingToulouse-Lautrec to sold out crowds six shows a week and like all theater artists, we were stopped dead in our tracks. I spent most of my time in lockdown dreaming of new ways to resurrect the energy of live theater in a safe way.
The challenges of making theater in a pandemic with none of the actors in the same room or building are too numerous and mind boggling to list. We used to tell our audiences that 20 hours of work went into just one minute of stage time. If only we knew how kind that ratio was to us then!
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec made the Belle Epoque and bohemian life in Paris legendary. Belle Epoque means the “golden age” and times like these hold a very special place in our memories. Who would have thought that as theater makers our “Belle Epoque” would just being able to be in a room together unmasked: dancing, seeing, speaking, connecting to our audiences? We look with intense longing on that golden age while moving forward in darker times. We hold these brushstrokes of memory close as we mask up and move out to the streets and in doing so we turn the spotlight to the streets of New York, which are still very much alive.
VOYEUR is dedicated to the many New York lives who shared the street us last year at this time but whose lives were cut short by the Coronavirus.
